The wait is almost too much to bear but AMC’s smash-hit, “The Walking Dead” is almost ready to come back.  To celebrate the season 5 midseason premiere, AMC has given fans the official poster.

In this one Carl seems to be taking point as the good ole’ gang walks towards an uncertain destiny.  SMACH-DAB in the middle, blowing on the ground we get a look at Abraham’s note that teases, “the new world.”  Looks like our favorite group of survivors is going on a road trip.

Tune in to watch the Midseason premier for season 5 of  AMC’s “The Walking Dead” on Sunday, February 8 at 9/8c on AMC.

The wait is AAAAAAAAAAlmost over folks.  The group of survivors you empathize with, the show that leaves you holding your breath for 47 minutes every Sunday night, the zombies you love to hate are coming back on Sunday, February 8th as AMC’s “The Walking Dead”  returns for season 5.

Ever since AMC’s breakout series, “The Walking Dead” was released and broke TV ratings records season after season after season, folks have been clamoring for more stories of the undead.

Lucky for fans, showrunner David Erickson and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero agree and this August, AMC will launch a whole new series that ties into the Walking Dead titled, “FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.”

“The spinoff takes place during the same zombie apocalypse depicted on The Walking Dead but in a different location. It revolves around Sean Cabrera (Curtis), a divorced teacher and Nancy Tompkins (Dickens), a female guidance councilor. Dillane plays the Nancy’s son Nick, who has battled a drug problem. Debnam Carey plays the Nancy’s ambitious daughter Ashley.”

This week AMC released some images as well as an insanely intense teaser.  Even though there  are no walkers shown, the trailer’s intensity is palpable and we can’t WAIT for the premier this August.  The show stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey.

One of our most anticipated shows, which debuts this August, is AMC’s new take on the zombie apocalypse, “Fear The Walking Dead.”   AMC has released an image of their poster that they will be bringing to San Diego Comic Con and although there is no decaying corpse attacking an innocent bystander or chasing  folks through the streets, the image gives off a creepy vibe just fine.

Lucky, and infinitely patient fans who wait for hours in line at the convention will get to see and hear from the cast and executive producers on the show at a panel on Friday, July 10th at 1 p.m at the infamous…..Hall H.

A companion series to The Walking Dead, the #1 show on television among adults 18-49, Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson and produced by AMC Studios. Co-Executive Producer Adam Davidson, who directed the pilot, is also directing the second and third episodes. The series’ first season, consisting of six one-hour episodes, will premiere on AMC in August, 2015. 

“Fear the Walking Dead takes us back to the earlier, more dangerous, more terrifying days of The Walking Dead,” said Kirkman. “A time when danger was lurking around every corner and the thing mostly likely to get you killed was your own ignorance of the rapidly changing world around you. The stakes are going to be higher and the ride more intense. We’re going to show people all the insanity of civilization crumbling that Rick Grimes slept through. Buckle up.”

We know you aren’t supposed to wish your life away but we can’t WAIT for August 23rd.  That is the date that AMC unleashes a whole new horde of zombies with their latest apocalyptic journey, “Fear the Walking Dead.”

Today, at San Diego Comic Con, AMC announced August 23rd as the debut date for the new series that is sure to haunt your dreams and they revealed a new, full-trailer to a hall packed with ravenous fans.

“Do you have ANY idea WHO you’re talking to?”

At the end of season 5 we see a reunion between Rick and Morgan that will have repercussions and reverberate throughout season 6.  The season 6 premier of “The Walking Dead” is locked and loaded for October 11th, and like you, we can’t wait.  AMC has released a new character photo that shows both Morgan and Rick with their signature weapons and they do NOT look happy or trusting of one another.

Looks like Alexandria is going to be in for some tough times and it all begins with the 90-minute premier on October 11th.  Whose side are you on?…..Rick……or Morgan?

“The new world comes with a price”

Fans have been awaiting the arrival of uber-baddie, Negan for some time now and they will get their wish when AMC’s The Walking Dead returns on February 14, 2016.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast to bring the vile, comic book, bad-guy to life and fans can’t wait.  Apparently, neither can Morgan.  Hear what he has to say about the role when his agent called him about it.  It’s very obvious that he already knew and loved the character.  (ALERT: There are some F bombs in here so kick the kids out of the room.)

Word on the street is that we don’t even get to see Negan until this season’s finale in April but his presence shall be felt in every single episode until then.Take a look at the teaser for the midseason premier below and let us know if you are excited about the addition of Neagan to the mix on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.”

“The New World Comes With A Price”

As we all wait on the edge of our seats for “The Walking Dead” to return, AMC has just released a new poster that teases some things to come.  The poster, comprised of seven sections, will leave fans dissecting, debating and  speculating.  Give us your theories below in the comments section.

“I am going to beat the holy hell outta one of you…..”

At the end of season 6, fans of The Walking Dead FINALLY got to have their favorite baddie from the comic book series make a grand entrance an OH what an entrance he made.  Let’s face it, the season 6 finale with Negan was probably the biggest, edge of your seat, breathtaking finale in the whole show’s history and THAT is saying a lot.

Well AMC is taking the gang back to San Diego Comic Con and they will be teasing fans about Season 7 which starts in October.  The Walking Dead Comic-Con panel will take place on Friday, July 22 at 1PM PT in Hall H. In addition, AMC will host a The Walking Dead-themed booth (#4237) in the Convention Center, where fans can stop by to take photos of themselves in Negan’s infamous “lineup” from the Season 6 finale.

Here is a look at the poster that will be featured in and around the convention.  Get a good look because ONE of these fan favorites may not be around much longer….  Here is a fun fan-made trailer below to get you in the Walking Dead mood.

September is here and that means it’s the start of the new, and returning, TV shows that we are all dying to see.  We’ve waited patiently and now we get to overload our DVRs with tons of TV.  The good folks over at Popsugar have put together this list to keep us all on track.  If you would like a printable version for your refrigerator or office cubical, CLICK HERE.

As you can see, there is a ton of new stuff and some old favorites are back for another round.  Keep in mind, if you love: HBO’s “Girls,” MTV’s “Teen Wolf,” “Switched at Birth,” A&E’s “Bates Motel,” NBC’s “Grimm,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and the CW’s “Vampire Diaries”, these shows are calling it quits after this season so get your final fix in now.

When someone lists “pizza” as one of their influences in their bio, we had an instant connection with this kindred spirit but when their art is this awesome, we develop an equally powerful, instant admiration.  Such is the case with the artist Truck Torrence, or as many know him, 100% Soft.

100% Soft has just had his second solo show at Gallery 1988 and much like its predecessor, it is utterly fantastic.  Called “Mass Hysteria 2” the show features 100% Soft’s signature, and instantly recognizable, take on pop culture including: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Willy Wonka, The Walking Dead, Pulp Fiction and many more.
