We don’t even want to get into the numbers for The Walking Dead but suffice it to say, this series has broken tons of records, continues to be a fan favorite and folks just can’t WAIT until Season 5 begins on October 12.

AMC has just released the official poster (as seen above) for the new season and as usual, things don’t look too great for our group of survivors. The new poster features Rick Grimes, in the woods but it’s hard to tell if he is doing the hunting or if he is the one being hunted. Regardless, we will be glued to our TV sets on October 12 to see how it all unfolds. Take a look at the intense trailer for the upcoming season and start counting the days people, start counting the days….
On a side note, The Walking Dead’s companion series has been approved for a pilot. AMC knows a good thing when they have it so they will be producing it with Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert (from The Walking Dead) as executive producers of the new show. Apparently, the zombie apocalypse has many more stories to tell and it will be refreshing to see how different parts of the world and different people are adapting to this hell on earth.
